A return label will be included with your order so all you will need to do is drop off the package at any UPS location the day after your last rental day to avoid late fees.
Your order is shipped and will arrive by 8PM of your first rental day. I.e. if you select June 8th as your first day of rent, it will arrive on June 8th, by 8 PM. Please note that we do not deliver on Sundays. Customers are responsible for ensuring your gear can be accepted by an adult at delivery or can be placed in a secure location. Customers are responsible for any lost or stolen gear.
For all purchases over $75 shipping is free. For everything under $75, we charge a flat rate of $30 for shipping.

Big Sky only provides premium gear that is in excellent condition. All gear is hand-cleaned to ensure you have the best experience possible. Sleeping bags, Waders, Boots and other wearables are professionally cleaned after every use.

Certainly, we will reduce the bill from the original to less however many days you’ve returned it early.
We understand that sometimes your plans change. Cancel or submit changes to your order at least 7 days prior to the first day of your rental to receive a full refund. If the gear has already been delivered, a refund is not available. To cancel or change your order, please email email@example.com .
We accept all major credit cards. You will be charged in full upon completing your online order.
Gear must be dropped off at a FedEx location and postmarked the day after your last rental day. Any customer who does not return gear within the appropriate timeframe may be charged $50 per day in addition to the rental cost of the gear. If gear is not returned within 10 days, your credit card will be charged the full retail price of the gear + taxes in addition to the rental cost of the gear.
We sell or donate the gear after it is no longer up to our standards, creating another life cycle for the gear.
You will not be charged for gear that is damaged due to normal wear. However, you will be charged the full price of any gear that is not returned or returned with significant damage beyond repair. If you receive gear that is damaged prior to your use, you must contact Big Sky Rentals immediately/on your first rental day to avoid replacement charges. Failure to notify Big Sky Rentals of any damage upon delivery may result in fees.
Many people rent camping gear with Big Sky gear for festivals they attend. We ship to your home, hotel, Airbnb or a FedEx location. Big Sky is familiar with festival guidelines and will make appropriate changes to accommodate (i.e. plastic stakes for tents).
There is no difference in quality, so you can’t go wrong with either option. The decision really comes down to how often you camp, hunt, or fish. If you don’t do these activities frequently, then renting is a great option to look and feel good without the commitment. Our equipment are made from only premium brands—guaranteeing that you’ll look the part, even if you don’t own the product. Short term rentals can also be of interest if you’d like to try out the product for the weekend, without having to dive all the way in with buying the equipment.
