About the Park:

Yosemite National Park was the first established national park in the United States. It is located in Sierra Nevada, California, and is an expansive 1200 square miles in size. Some of the features of this great park include one of the tallest waterfalls and granite walls in the world, with three drops totaling over 2400 feet! The park is home to the famed El Capitan and Half Dome, and is home to over 800 miles of hiking trails.

Yosemite has wonderful camping grounds that makes it easy to make a home base. Once you set up camp, all you need is a backpack and good hiking boots to get you through your day trips once on site.
