Optics and Scopes

Well, Summer is approaching and hopefully you all are finally feeling like you can get out and about for a 2020 Hunt or camping trip. Especially with the current conditions of socially distancing, there is not a more useful tool to feeling closely connected to the outdoors than Optics. Whether you're on a hike or on a hunt, to get a crystal clear view of the wildlife, there's no better way to do so than through a crisp lens on a Swarovski, Zeiss, or Vortex.

These products can be sneakily expensive, in the thousands of dollars. And are items that are used so sparsely, that to buy and make use of them, you'd have to use them on 15 different trips, which is a daunting task. In the National parks or in the big country of the west, quality glass is essential to bringing the sharpest far off details into focus. For a fraction of the investment of buying top of the line optics, travelers can rent spotting scopes and binoculars as an essential tool to a better trip.

Buying a pair of Swarovski EL 10X42 Binoculars will set you back almost three grand! While you can’t argue these are amazing quality optics, and worth the price, that’s a huge investment for most hunters and campers.

If you're interested in going on a big trip and seeing some beautiful scenery, my opinion is to rent spotting scopes or to consider renting binoculars. Seeing animals and the world through these lenses really brings far better definition and appreciation for what you're seeing. Big Sky has a variety of optics for rent, if you have any questions, please contact us at info@bigskyrent.com.
